Metrics that mean the same thing everywhere.

One canonical definition per metric, with each company's own label and formula mapped to it — so "growth" means the same thing whether it came from a SaaS company or a marketplace.

Portfolio KPI tracking, explained.

What is portfolio KPI tracking for private-market funds?

It's the process of collecting financial and operating metrics — revenue, burn, runway — from every portfolio company and standardizing them into one comparable format, instead of reading a different board-deck layout from each company every quarter.

How will portfolio companies submit their data to FolioArc?

Two ways: companies can email their files directly, or log in to a secure portal and upload them. Scheduled outreach and reminders are designed to replace the manual quarterly email chase.

How does FolioArc keep metric definitions consistent across different companies?

Each metric has one canonical definition, while each company's own label, formula, and source field are mapped to it separately. If a company changes how it defines a metric, that creates a new version rather than silently mixing incompatible numbers.

Who signs off on portfolio data before it's used?

Three separate parties: the portfolio company's CFO certifies the submission is complete, the fund's GP or CFO accepts it for portfolio reporting, and the valuation team separately approves it for use in a valuation model.

Is FolioArc's Portfolio Intelligence available yet?

No — Portfolio Intelligence is currently in development. FolioArc's Legal Intelligence product is available now; Portfolio and Valuation Intelligence are being built next.
